| ILLUSTRATOR AND AUTHOR STINA WIRSÉN Always drawing. Ever since Stina was a small child, she can not hold a pen without skeching. As she draws the lines, the images emerge across the paper and the characters take shape., and come alive as Stina fills them with emotions and personalities.”I strive to promote open and tolerant ways of communication when I work with childrens books, Stina says. I want every emotion a person can contain to fit in the pictures. My hope is that every child will be able to identify themselves with someone of the colourful figures.The brand Brokiga stands for colour and shape, joy, playfulness and tolerance. We espire to promote and contribute to diversity.” In parallel with children’s books, cartoons and children’s collections for Little Pink & Brokiga, Stina is working with images intended for a grown up audience. Fashion drawings and portraits are genres that Stina has worked with throughout her career. “To switch between different projects is stimulating and liberating. I never get bored, because I rarely get stuck in one style or expression”, Stina says. スティーナ・ヴィルセン イラストレーター＆作家いつも絵を描いているスティーナ。小さなころから、ペンを持つとすぐにスケッチをしていました。スティーナが線を描くと、紙の上に絵が現れ、キャラクターたちが形づくられます。そして、スティーナが感情や性格を投入すると、そのキャラクターたちに命が注ぎ込まれます。「子どものための本を描くときには、オープンで寛容なコミュニケーションができるよう、心がけています。一人の人が持ちうる全ての感情を、絵の中に入れ込みたいと思っています。私の望みは、一人ひとりの子どもたちが、色とりどりのキャラクターたちのうち、どれかと自分を重ね合わせて共感してくれることです。ブロキガというブランドは、色や形によって、喜びや遊び心、寛容な気持ちを表現しています。私たちは、多様性であることを促し、貢献しようとしています。 リトルピンク＆ブロキガの子ども向けの本、アニメーション、子ども向け商品だけではなく、スティーナは大人を対象とした絵も描いています。ファッション画や肖像画は、スティーナがずっと関わってきた分野です。 「いろんなプロジェクトを行ったり来たりするのは、刺激的で開放感があります。私は、一つのスタイルや表現に固執することがめったにないので、退屈することは全然ないですね。」 スティーナは、イラストや子どもの本の仕事で、国内国外を通してアワードを受賞しています。 |
